  41.         This file contains new information which may not be printed in
  42.         the manual. If any information is contrary to the manual, the
  43.         contents of this file is to be applied.

  45.         NOTE: not all utilities described in the following are supported
  46.               by all ELSA graphics adapters!

  52.         Almost all files are compressed, their names are slightly
  53.         changed. Please note that the files can NOT just be copied
  54.         from this disk.

  58. 3.      Installation
  59.  
  60. 3.1     Automatically installation
  61.  
  62.         To install the "ELSA WINman Suite" under Windows 95, you have to
  63.         run the CDSETUP.EXE from ELSA Winnerware CD. In the dialog 
  64.         comming up now, the hardware and the operating system is 
  65.         identified, and the available tools are displayed. To install
  66.         the "ELSA WINman Suite" choose this item in the window "Instal-
  67.         lation of:" and click the "Install" button. Now the files will 
  68.         be copied.

  70. 3.2     Manual installation
  71.  
  72.         It is no problem to install the "ELSA WINman Suite" for Windows 95
  73.         manually. For that purpose change to the directory of the tool
  74.         you want to install (e.g. WINNER\2000OFC\WIN95\DRVTOOLS\WINMSUIT)
  75.         and click with the right mouse button on the file with the extension
  76.         *.INF (e.g.WINMSUIT.INF). Select in the context menu the item 
  77.         "Install". The utility files will be installed.

  81. 4.      Description of the WINMAN Suite

  83.         ELSA Settings          Tool to define new resolutions, change
  84.                                the screen position and adjust monitor
  85.                                timings
  86.         ELSA Info              Shows information about the installed
  87.                                ELSA graphics board
  88.         ELSA WINman Suite      Central control program for using the
  89.                                programs mentioned above
  90.         DirectX Settings       Allows to control filtering and settings
  91.                                for Direct3D

  93. 4.1     ELSA Settings
  94.  
  95.         ELSA Settings allows you to define new resolutions, set monitor
  96.         refresh rates, change the screen position and adjust monitor
  97.         timings. It is possible to set any individual timing your
  98.         hardware supports.

  100. 4.2     ELSA Info
  101.  
  102.         The ELSA Info page shows a range of information about your Windows
  103.         system and the ELSA graphics board installed. Not just important
  104.         hardware information like detailed designation of the ELSA
  105.         graphics board, memory expansion and BIOS version is displayed, but
  106.         also the version of the graphics driver and the Windows version.

  108. 4.3     ELSA WINman Suite
  109.  
  110.         The WINman Suite is the central control program to reach straight
  111.         to the ELSA Settings, DirectX Settings, ELSA Info and, if installed
  112.         Video I/O properties.

  114. 4.4     DirectX Settings
  115.  
  116.         The "DirectX Settings" is a page in the "Properties for Display"
  117.         under Windows 95 to allow setting several filters and Direct3D 
  118.         options to succeed optimal performance of your ELSA graphics board.

  120.         In the system menu you can change the language (German/English).
